It operates a fleet of 700+ container vessels with combined capacity over ~4.1–4.6 million TEU, and provides global services in container shipping, terminals, logistics, freight forwarding, inland transport and supply chain operations across 130+ countries. The company reported ~US $55.5 billion in revenue (2024) and has approximately 108,000 employees worldwide. While container ships are its core, Maersk also has operations in tanker and support vessel sectors through subsidiaries.Maersk has evolved from a steamship operator into a global integrated shipping and logistics conglomerate.
