MEO II is run by 9 approved institutes in Mumbai region. One publishes fees, Rs 40,050. Next batch 1 October at The Institute of Marine Engineers(India). The Institute of Marine Engineers(India) also runs it with ERS Mgmt together for Rs 52,100, Rs 2,000 less than booking both separately.
MEO Class II is the second engineer certificate, taken after sea service as a watchkeeping engineer. It covers motor and steam engineering knowledge, naval architecture, electrical technology and management to a higher standard, and is the step before chief engineer.
