2nd Mate FG is run by 10 approved institutes in Mumbai region. Two publish fees, Rs 40,000 to Rs 44,600. Next batch 15 October at MTI.
The Second Mate (Foreign Going) competency course prepares a deck cadet for the first officer-level certificate. It covers navigation, chartwork, ship stability, cargo work, meteorology and maritime law to the standard of the DG Shipping written and oral examinations.
