Certificates and requirements
- Completed pre-sea nautical training (Diploma / B.Sc Nautical Science or equivalent)
- STCW Basic Safety Training and a valid medical certificate
- A structured Training Record Book to complete on board
- Eagerness to learn - the first step toward becoming a navigating officer
